Councilor Celia Núñez
The City Council appointed Celia Núñez in January 2007 to fill the unexpired term of Councilor Benny Holt. Councilor Núñez was elected to her first full term in 2009.
Councilor Núñez was a member of the City’s Development Review board in 2006, until her appointment to the Council. She was a member of the Oregon Community Foundation’s Northern Willamette Valley Advisory Council for a decade, and a recent Fellow of the Portland Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Program. She currently serves as a board member of that organization.
Councilor Núñez earned a B.A. and an M.B.A. from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon and serves on their Diversity Committee. Currently, she is a State Farm Agent in Newberg, Oregon, a member of Newberg Rotary, and a Fellow of Leadership Newberg through the Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce. She has lived in Wilsonville since 1999.
