State Senator Rod Monroe

Rod Monroe grew up in Southeast Portland. He has dedicated his life to education and public service, starting his career in education in 1965 as a teacher at Tigard High School and his career as a legislator in 1976. He and his wife Billie, his Legislative Assistant, have been married for nearly fifty years.
